"{Our doula} is amazing! My mother passed away two weeks before our baby boy was born. It was a tumultuous yet joyous time to say the least. We also had latch issues from the start with a lip and tongue tie and {our doula} attended our appointments, helped with relearning to latch after revision and is the SOLE reason I am still breastfeeding over 6 months later. She kept me fed and SANE! She was a confidant, a friend and a helper. There was never a dumb question (even for a second time mom) and I learned everything from how to babywear a newborn to why breastfeeding hurts so darn much initially. She helped with our newest addition and our toddler as needed so that our family could transition from 3 to 4 with as few bumps in the road as possible. She stayed with us overnight the first night which was the best idea we could have had. There are days as a new mom (especially in my circumstance) when you just need to cry and fall apart...and she was there to help pick me back up and give me the support I needed to take a deep breath and keep going. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her for almost 6 weeks and privileged to call her a forever friend of our family! "
